Now that we have baby D here and in arms I have been able to really test out and review some great nursing items including a Cake Lingerie bra and panty set. I was very excited to try out this particular brand of nursing bra because the bras are so pretty.
When I first found Cake’s website I did not realize that they offered only nursing bras, I thought they were your typical lingerie company. I was happy to see a company dedicated to giving nursing mamas beautiful bras to go along with a very beautiful part of our lives. I really enjoy nursing my babies and I think that having an attractive nursing bra makes the experience even better.
I received the Apricot Sorbet set and I have to say that not only is it much prettier in person, but it is very well made. This is one of the full coverage styles that Cake carries, and it does give full coverage and full support while still looking great. I really like that the bra has extra support and lining when opened for nursing. You can see what I am talking about in the picture below. I am usually an under-wire bra girl so that was a change for me, but I found that because of the support of the bra and the way it is constructed I did not really miss the under-wire. I also really like that there is an extra wide band in the back with a three hook closure. Those details and construction really add to the comfort and quality fit of this bra.
I have to add that the customer service is absolutely amazing! They worked with me every step of the way to find the perfect bra and get the perfect fit. I reviewed a very neutral set, but you have to go check out their website to see the vibrant fun colors they offer. With the wide variety of styles and colors to choose from you will be able to choose something that will make you feel beautiful while giving you easy access for nursing your precious little one.
