For the third week of my review I wanted to try out some of the bread and bagels, lemonade and of course more flavored milk.  I am a little obsessed with trying out every flavor milk Winder offers. 

I really like the bread I got this week.  The loaf of white bread is almost exactly like Grandma Sycamore’s Home Maid Bread.  This is fantastic since we can no longer get Grandma Sycamore’s in Vegas.  It is soft but not too soft and just the right size slices, perfect for sandwiches or toast.  The bagels were super yummy too.  The asiago cheese is very flavorful and the bagels stayed fresh for a long time.  I used them for bagel sandwiches and as a snack toasted with a little butter.    

The Strawberry Lemonade is so delicious!  It is perfect for these hot summer days to cool off with a sweet treat.  There are even little bits of lemon and strawberries that settle to the bottom so you know it is fresh squeezed.  I really love strawberry lemonade so I order it at most restaurants and this is one of the best strawberry lemonades I have had to date.  It is that good!    

The two flavors of milk I got this week were chocolate Mint and Chocolate Raspberry.  I really enjoyed the Chocolate Mint.  It was reminiscent of an Andes mint but with a more subtle mint flavor.  The Chocolate Raspberry was not a favorite at my house which really surprised me since we all love raspberries.  The raspberry is a little artificial tasting and there seemed to be a lot of raspberry flavor in this milk.  I added some chocolate syrup to try to even out the raspberry chocolate ratio and that helped, but I will not be ordering this flavor again.  Especially since the Chocolate Caramel milk is out there calling my name.

We are on week two of our Winder Farms deliveries and I must say it was a very yummy week!

I have sampled Winder Farms flavored milk before at local functions, but they have come out with a large variety that my whole family wanted to try so we ordered the flavored milk sampler as well as the Brown Cow yogurt sampler, apples and lunch salads.

The milk sampler contains 5 flavored milks including chocolate, caramel chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, and root beer.  My favorite out of this sampler was the caramel chocolate.  It is the perfect mix of caramel and chocolate without being overpowering and it does not taste artificial at all.  The strawberry was my daughter’s favorite, but it does have a little bit of an artificial taste for me.  My son and husband loved the straight chocolate milk, and the baby really liked the root beer milk. 

The root beer flavor tastes just like a melted root beer float without any carbonation.  The vanilla flavor was a little too sweet for me to drink alone, but it was great poured over cereal in the morning.  This pack is great to try out each of the flavors so you know what to order in a larger size next time.  The individual bottles are 16 oz each, and they also come in a half gallon size as well.

I really enjoyed the yogurt sampler.  I usually do not get fruit on the bottom type of yogurt but the Brown Cow brand that Winder carries is extra creamy and smooth and the flavors are intense and natural.  I think that lemon and black cherry were my favorites out of the pack, but I would order the whole set again because all of the flavors were good, and I think the set is that best bargain.

The apples were fresh and crisp, and my lunch salads were great for a prepared quick meal.  I really enjoyed the Cobb salad and will be ordering it again.  I am also interested to try out the Santa Fe salad when it is available.  The salads are big enough to fill up an individual for lunch or even use as a side salad for two or three people.

Getting groceries delivered right to your door sounds like a dream come true when you are 39 weeks pregnant and have no desire to leave the house.  Honestly that was a huge selling point for me in doing a month long review with .  I was happy to be able to have fresh food delivered right to me and skip the drama of taking my three children grocery shopping.

For my first wee

The donuts were, of course, a huge hit.  They were gone within moments of getting them out of the cooler.  They are especially good when you microwaved them for 10 seconds.  Melt in your mouth—yum!  (FYI they come in a package of six, but my husband snagged one before I could take a picture so my picture is a donut short.)   

The deli meat was very tasty, but I did have to order three packages since they only come in smaller 7 oz. size.  Not a big deal if you have a small family, but feeding a family of five takes a lot of food and I usually buy at least a pound each of ham and turkey when I am getting meat from the grocery store.  The sliced cheese does come in a full pound package, and it is sliced really nice and thick.  Perfect for sandwiches or just as a snack. 

I was very pleased with the ease of placing my order and getting the delivery.  You do all of your ordering online through the Winder Farms website and then just place your cooler outside on your front porch the night before your delivery is scheduled.  You will wake up in the morning with your cooler filled with food.  It is that easy and convenient.
