“Whatever Goes” Giveaway Hop Featuring Lug Bags (Ends 11/11)

I seem to be on the constant search for the ultimate diaper bag since my first baby was born over 7 years ago.  To say that I have tried out over a hundred bags would be a gross understatement.  There is always something that I have issues with on every bag I have tried to carry, but I still search on.  That is what led me to .  I found Lug and knew I had to try out a few of their bags for two reasons.  They have a lot of built in organizational pockets and they are colorful.  Two things I really appreciate in a great bag!

When I opened my Lug package I was so impressed with the bright colors of the bags and how lightweight they are.  I tend to over pack my bags, especially my diaper bag, so having a bag made of lightweight material is important to me so that it does not get too heavy. 

I was lucky enough to review the Tuk Tuk diaper bag and the Double Dutch Cross-Body Messenger bag.  These are very different bags that I would use for totally different outings, but I am really enjoying both styles.  The Tuk Tuk has TONS of room to pack all of the necessities and then some for me, baby D, and the other kiddos.  I love the many pockets on this bag and the unique ventilated compartment for soiled clothing or an extra change of clothes.   Best features of this bag for me are the padded comfortable shoulder strap, the lined compartment for my cell phone and separate zipped compartment for my keys, and the built in stroller clips.  I also love that this bag can fit four water bottles or Sippy cups in the outer pockets!  The built in organization on the outside of this bag is really amazing.  I do find that I need a few smaller bags to organize the main compartment of the bag so a few more pouches and pockets inside would be helpful, but overall I am very pleased with this diaper bag.  Plus check out the pictures to see how much stuff you can fit in the super cute Tuk Tuk bag.

The Double Dutch is a fun medium size bag.  It is called the Double Dutch because if you let out the strap all the way it can be worn as a cross body bag or you can tighten the strap to make it the perfect length for a shoulder bag—which is how I prefer to carry it.  Once again lots of great organizational compartments to keeping keys and phones handy yet safe.  I love that there is a hidden water bottle pocket that Velcros back together when not in use so you stay stylish but when you need it this bag is functional!  The inside of this purse is perfect to hold the necessities of everyday for you and maybe a few toys for the kids.  With how much I carry with baby D I can not use this as my diaper bag, but it will be a great every day bag when my kids get older.  The pictures show how I pack my Double Dutch so you can see how much I can fit inside, and there is some room to spare.

    My Tuk Tuk was my first lug bag and still remains one of my faves even though it’s retired from its diaper bag days into an overnight and everything bag for me. I love love love all the lug colours but am currently after the Hula Hoop Carry-All messenger in red or pink (a new lug colour for me!). Love Lug!

    I fell in love with Lug’s Hula Hoop Carry-all Messenger Bag .. I had a different diaper bag when our baby first arrived .. the first bag was messy, didn’t hold everything, was disorganized and everything kept falling out. Than I was introduced to the Hula Hoop Carry-all Messenger Bag .. and I absolutely love it!! The size, the compartments, the way it keeps me organized, the sleek look, how it attaches to my stroller .. everything about it !! I think having the right diaper bag with a new born is key .. especially because we travel and go out and about so frequently with the baby. I love the black/grey colour that we chose, but also love all of the other colours!!
