Halloween PEEPS, and MIKE AND IKE, and PEANUT CHEWS, oh my!

Fall is here and with it come cooler days, changing leaves and my favorite holiday Halloween. I love playing dress up, pumpkin spice everything and Candy!!!!!  Candy is a big thing in our house at Halloween time. We like being the family on the block known for having “the good candy”.

So with Halloween right around the corner, it is the perfect time to start planning on how to make the once a year event spooktacular for all the candy seeking guests. This year, thanks to our friends at  and , Halloween will be extra festive for our family and trick-or-treaters with cool edible desserts and fistfuls of delicious candy. It will definitely make our home the block favorite and the one to beat this Halloween!

I must say as a family we may be a bit divided when it comes to candy–we all have different taste.  Son is all for the sweetness that is PEEPS. I remember when we first opened the box of goodness and saw the gray tombstones. Son and I made a bet on what they would taste like being gray in color. Of course they tasted like yummy marshmallow.

I’ve always been a fan of MIKE AND IKE® candies. Even though you are suppose to chew them, I sometimes like to suck on them. I wait for the coating to dissolve then I chew the gummy part.

Husband is all about the intense kick of HOT TAMALES®. These little cinnamon ches give off a big cinnamon flavor. Perfect for anyone who enjoys a little spice with the sweet.

So whether you’re into the classic PEEPS, MIKE AND IKE, or the HOT TAMALES® there is something for everyone. There is even GOLDENBERG’S® PEANUT CHEWS® a combination of chewy chocolatey bites loaded with crunchy peanuts. Another wonderful part about these candies if all the wonderful ways you and your family can use them to create yummy, spooktacular desserts.

So grab your apron and kids and make this Spooky Graveyard cake for the family to enjoy. All you need is a box cake mix, frosting, some crushed cookies and PEEPS. It’s easy, fun and you can go wild with your imagination. Plus it makes a great dessert for any Halloween gathering.

PEEPS are also terrific for decorating cupcakes, adding to hot cocoa, and so much more! Not to mention, the adorable marshmallow candy is very affordable!

  37. Generally, I love that which you are saying.
    School doesn’t really help everybody.

They can lose interest in pretty much everything on the planet simply because
    they are particularly dejected.

Why must kids remain to be unhappy if a lot of alternate options already
exist? If only people could make an effort to understand.

The fact is, quite a few mums and dads don’t seem to be
looking after their very own kids’ emotional needs.
