This is a favorite dip of mine! I used to struggle to eat apples growing up. I have no clue why, but I really hated apples with the skin on them. I had some strange pickiness with food growing up, but I guess each child has something. So to help this, my sister and owner of the blog, Samantha Vickers, introduced me to her yummy toffee apple dip. Eating apples with this dip literally helped me to start eating apples with the skin on them years ago and now I just love apples! I grew out of my weird pickiness and now I have an awesome tasty apple dip that my whole family loves. We recently made the dip for a bridal shower and it was a hit, so try it out yourselves!
You Will Need:
Apples (probably a given, right?)
1 pkg. cream cheese
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Bag of Heath toffee bits (with or without chocolate)
1. Let package of cream cheese soften or heat up in the microwave until it is soft, but not melted.
2. Mix the cream cheese and other ingredients together in a bowl until there is a smooth consistency and the sugar grains are all mixed in. Add the toffee bits last. (I usually only add half the bag but you can add more if you want)
This is probably one of our easiest recipes ever, but it is dang yummy! The dip tastes different depending on if you use Heath toffee bits with chocolate or without. I personally love the dip with the chocolate pieces, but you’ll have to try that out yourself. You can even add cocoa or fudge to the mix and try to make a chocolate dip as well. You can also add in different bits of candy instead of toffee bits and see what scrumptious combinations you can find. Have fun with this dip!
