I have been on the search for a set of good sheets that are not outrageously priced for a while now. I have found that the high thread count of the sheets I love is way out of my price range so I settled for less. A lot less. In fact the sheets we have been sleeping on that I got at a “discount store” feel like paper. They are actually a decent thread count, but they are very stiff and not comfy.
The colors they offer are very rich and should not fade when washed because of the microfiber. I chose the sage color above–so pretty! I honestly can’t imagine putting my old sheets back on my bed after sleeping on these. I am going to have to get another set of Holy Sheets!
I also got to try out the Bamboo Memory Foam Pillow with my new sheets. I am not used to a very firm pillow so I as a little worried that this was going to be too much pillow for me, but I have been pleasantly surprised. The pillow is filled with shredded memory foam. The company takes the left over foam from larger companies that would normally be thrown away to waste. They buy it, shred it and fill the pillows to create a very comfortable eco-friendly memory foam pillow. The pillow is machine washable and covered in bamboo cloth. I knew that bamboo was very versatile and super soft when turned into fabric, but I learned that the fibers are also anti-bacterial, which I thought was an added bonus.
These pillows are very full of the shredded memory foam as you can see in the picture on the right. One thing I did not expect was the weight of the pillow. They are heavy, but I guess I am just used to pillows being filled with fluff and air, but the problem with that is they deflate to nothing and give no support. The bamboo memory foam pillow gives great support and it feels like my head melts into the pillow each night. The standard size pillow is a few inches linger than a regular standard pillow so you get a good size pillow. Plus they are nice and cool to sleep on.
BUY IT: You can buy your own set of or if you are a local in the Las Vegas area you can check out their store at the Galleria Mall. (New sheets would be a great Christmas gift for the-hard-to-buy-for in your life. They will love them!)
