Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 Review

I was recently invited to a very special night hosted by Graco to introduce a fabulous new car seat.  To say that I was excited would be an understatement!  We do our research in this household to find the best of the best for our kids with all things, but especially baby products.  I am proud to say that we put our trust in Graco six years ago when my oldest was born and have never looked back.

This company continues to lead the industry with their new – the first and only newborn to two-year infant car seat that actually grows with your baby from four pounds all the way up to 40 pounds. The car seat is designed for a parent on the go. The infant car seat can be easily removed from the base and used as a carrier when the infant is small, providing portability and convenience so you can easily move your infant in and out of the car without disturbing them.

I wanted to highlight some key points about this car seat that I learned at our fun Graco celebration that make it stand out from the rest:

* The weight limit is 40 pounds so even with a big kiddo they can stay put until two.

*There is a ton of extra padding in this car seat to cushion a new baby.  Which is great because if you add your own padding or other additional products to your car seat it actually voids to warranty to fully protect your baby.

* The base adjusts for leg room as your baby grows and it is so simple to reposition.  (You can see in the pictures to the right how the car seat goes up with a kick-board kind of addition near the baby’s feet.  That piece allows for the extra leg room for baby as you adjust the car seat back in the base.)

*It has the lovely Click Connect system that allows you to click you baby into a stroller with ease and you know they are secure.  (This is a great feature that Graco has put into their car seats for years–love it.)

*My Favorite Feature…ONE HANDED harness adjustment!!!  Yes, you read that right you can adjust the harness without taking the whole car seat apart.  How beautiful is that?

The American Academy of Pediatrics recently made the recommendation to keep all children in rear-facing car seats until the age of 2. Graco set out to make this product so parents can keep infants rear facing longer while still keeping them comfortable.  I for one am happy to know that Graco is dedicated to keeping our children safe and continually producing better products that go above the standard.

Another great fact about this company is that they know how to have fun.  They treated the group of bloggers and kids in my area to a great night with entertainment for the kids as well as education and socializing for the moms.  My kids could not stop talking about how much they loved the “Graco Birthday Party”.  You can see from the picture below why.  is any kid’s dream come true, and the staff was AmaZing!

In a nutshell, I think Graco is absolutely fabulous in every way!

BUY IT:  This innovative car seat is only available or in stores at Babies “R” Us.  There are two fabric pattern choices to choose from–Moonstruck (Neutral) and Mena (Girly).

  1. Every time I see new baby things like this Graco SnugRide, it gets me excited for the day I’ll have grandkids. Baby products keep getting better and better! My youngest is 12 and while I loved his carseat, I wish they had this when he was a baby!

  2. I love the one-handed harness adjustment!

  3. Wow! That looks amazing!

  4. I completely love this car seat! Excellent product …and I should know, I have 3 kids! The ability to push the seat back for more leg room is my favorite feature.

Have it. It is heavy compared to others and stiff to adjust. My straps also get twisted. The company’s suggestion was to send it back so they can determine if it was faulty. Ummmm… I sorta need the car seat so no.
