My husband and I have always been a fan of word games. Scrabble, Banagrams, Boggle – we play them all. So of course I had to check out the newest word game to hit the board game scene! The past few weeks we’ve been playing (and I gotta tell you, I am cleaning up on hubby! Lol).
The catch is, the five words must be comprised of a two-letter, three-letter, four-letter, five-letter, and six-letter word! So there is strategy involved. (mine is to use the hardest letters first!).
You’re also on a time, so you have to think fast! And…I didn’t realize this until round two, but there are even apostrophes in the mix! Makes things interesting!
Dabble can be played with 2-4 players, but you could just test your skills playing solo vs the clock! Great for birthday party games, or teen party games!
It’s a easy game to learn, and the rounds go quickly. I like how it doesn’t take forever to set up and play like other board games. And, there’s even a $1.99 version app for iPad and smartphones!
