These potatoes are some of the most delicious potatoes I have eaten! A must for holidays, parties, pot-lucks, and anytime you want a great meal. This recipe is always top of the list for my family, especially during the holiday seasons (every holiday really). They’re buttery, cheesy, and will taste so yummy and savory that they are sure to be devoured before anything else on the plate!
Ingredients
- Russet Potatoes (wash but don't peel)
- Butter (as much as desired)
- Onion Salt
- Couple of dashes of Accent
- Salt and pepper
- Parmesan cheese
- Dried parsley or rosemary
Instructions
- Scrub potatoes well and leave peelings on.
- Slice whole potatoes into 1/8th inch slices, or sizes/chunks of preference.
- Arrange slices/chunks in a cake pan.
- Pour seasoned melted butter over potatoes, trying to get seasoning on all parts.
- Sprinkle over Parmesan cheese and a little dried parsley or rosemary over the top.
- Bake in oven at 375 degrees for 1 hour to 1.5 hours until potatoes are tender and have crispy, browned edges.
Notes
This recipe and the amount of ingredients are according to your preference. To make seasoning the potatoes easier, I have found that a good trick is to melt the butter in a small bowl, add seasoning to the butter, and dip the potatoes in the butter before cooking. Both this method and the one above will lead to scrumptious potatoes but this way might save a few minutes of your time.
