Gola has a very rich history. In May of 1905 Gola was born. By the mid 30’s they had their first ad campaign for football boots with the slogan ‘Gola means Goals’. They even made boots for the British Army during World War II. Since then they have continued to focus on boots and shoes as well as football and rugby boots. It has become a major brand both in sports and fashion. Gola is the footwear of choice for celebrities like Jude Law and Coldplay. Gola is now more than 100 years old and is an amazing company that continues to evolve and expand. As a soccer fan I love that Gola has put their footprint (pun intend) on the sport!

Their signature style exemplifies fun and function. I love the variety of colors and styles that features while still keeping their unique look. Here are a few of my favorite styles:

I was excited to review the , which is a fashion inspired trainer. The Quota features a washed canvas upper to give an authentic, worn look as well as a vintage style, worn bottom. It came broken in and instantly looked and felt like your favorite pair. They didn’t look worn out or old, just broken in. No blisters or breaking in period, which is fantastic! Sneakers, flip-flops or ballet flats are all I wear. These Gola Quota- Black/Black shoes are perfect for everyday.

The vintage look is only one of their styles, if that’s not your style believe me they have plenty of options! If you are looking for more of a statement Gola has you covered there too with bold colors and patterns for any personality.

Hopefully in the future they will offer half sizes. I am a 9 ½ or 10 so I went with the 10 and it worked great. Comfort and style are important to me and I love that Gola embodies both fully. With fall coming I have no doubt that I will be wearing these shoes all the time! I love the fact that they offer shoes in Mens, Womens, and Kids sizes. It is a perfect shoe to keep in mind for back to school.
