has launched a new line of fruit and nut bar, Kit’s Organic.  These bars are made with 100% organic fruits and nuts. These bars are 200 calories or less, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free and chock full of delightful flavor.  Here is what the ladies of YGTB have to say about them…

Julie says:  I’m a huge snack / fitness bar fanatic!! I so much enjoyed sampling CLIF Bars new Kit’s Organic Fruit & Nut bars! Oh so many ways I loved them. Probably the first is how they are soft and chewy – I hate getting a snack bar that makes my teeth feel like they are going to break – the Kit’s Organic bars were the perfect, enjoyable texture. I love that it’s an organic bar, as those can be hard to find, and also gluten-free! I don’t need to be gluten free exclusively anymore, but I still try to limit my grain intake, so this was a key component for me.

The four diverse flavors were delicious, and appealing – it’s great to have variety when you eat as many bars as I do in a week’s time! I do wish the bar had a bit more protein – the ones I tried ranged from 3-6 grams, but I could do with a little higher protein content when I am eating on the run! Still, I’ll definitely be looking for these bars on store shelves to get more!

Samantha says:  I have tried the other varieties of CLIF Bars so I am familiar with this brand and I was excited to try out a new line.  I thought that the Kit’s Organic Bars where something a little special and different from the original CLIF Bars and other snack bars out there.  They are super moist and VERY flavorful.  My kids and I tried all four flavors and we enjoyed them all.  There was not one flavor that my kids said they did not like, but their top vote was for the Peanut Butter.  Maybe I am partial to /chocolate but my favorite flavor was the Chocolate Almond Coconut–Yummy!  

Amber says:  Clif Kit’s organic fruit and nut bars are filled with organic goodness. The bar is pretty thick and has that wholesome taste. Definitely very filling bars.  The peanut butter flavor was the favorite of my three kids.  I am not surprised by that at all. We are big peanut butter fans here !  I like that the bar is not crumbly and holds together well when thrown in your picnic basket  or backpack for on the go times. The bars are not particularly sweet , so they will not cure a sweet tooth. But if you are looking for a healthy snack and a energy booster this is a great one to add to your pantry.
